Serving the community of Hamilton Patricia Grunauer-Spinner is an internationally certified Imago Relationship Therapist. A mother of four from Ecuador, she lives in Hamilton and specializes in various trauma and relationship therapies. Patricia is skilled in myriad psychotherapeutic fields, but has chosen to focus on relationship therapies. Having always been interested in the behaviours of others and why some behave in certain ways, Patricia went into social work studies. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work at a catholic university in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and her master’s at McMaster University. She also studied at Mohawk College in the Gerontological Studies. Patricia offers various therapies to help process trauma. Emotional trauma caused by overwhelming experiences left unprocessed has the tendency to interfere with one’s ability to maintain harmonious relationships.
